Good Afternoon!
The time is now to get 2016 training on the calendar and Rescuepax has some exciting new opportunities!
2 hour drills
Water Rescue: in your local pool this winter learn the best swimming strokes and rescue techniques in a controlled (and warm!) environment
Ice Rescue: for those previously trained departments that need to refresh and bring new crewmembers up to speed.
FF Health and Wellness: using the FEMA and IAFC programs as a foundation, we have customized a short program including diet and nutrition, obstacles to FF health, and entry level to high performance fitness routines.
Off Road Issues: we will identify off road hazards in your community and do tabletop exercises to strengthen your response capabilities through proactive planning.
8 hour courses and beyond
Rope Rescue Technician: we are scheduling two 40 hour indoor rope tech courses over the winter. One up north and one near the Twin Cities. These courses will ready the student for the MFSCB exam. Please contact us ASAP if interested so we can get a schedule assembled to meet your needs.
Advanced Ice Rescue Technician: we will be offering our typical Ice Rescue class of course, but are adding an Advanced Ice Rescue course for those ready to take the next step.
2016 Ice Rescue Rodeo: we will be hosting a full day on the ice with equipment vendors and instructors from around the country bringing us the latest and greatest in ice rescue tools and skills. Watch for more promos on this new event soon!
Don’t forget our custom courses are designed to your specific requests and needs and meet MBFTE funding criteria. Let us help you maintain crew capabilities in water/ice rescue, low/high angle rescue, grain bin/confined space rescue, off road/all terrain rescue, FF health/wellness, fire prevention/public education and Fire Department leadership/mentoring programs.
