❤🍀

A special thank you to 4-H students across Wayne and Putnam counties for their thoughtful donations to Hoops Family Children's Hospital at Cabell Huntington Hospital!

These students put their time and creativity into making hand-sewn pillowcases, quilts and busy boxes to bring a little extra comfort and joy to our patients during their hospital stays.

We're grateful for their generosity and the care they put into making a difference for the children and families we serve. 💚

"4-H for Good” Friday!

To celebrate , we are highlighting a fantastic, multi-county service project recently completed by 4-H’ers in Putnam and Wayne counties.

These young leaders teamed up to create “busy boxes” for children at a local hospital. Putnam County 4-H’ers used their sewing class skills to create colorful, handmade pillow cases. Wayne County 4-H’ers assembled the boxes and packed them full of fun activities.

Through this joint effort, our participants learned the power of civic engagement and bringing comfort to those who need it most. 4-H is all about hands to larger service.

A huge thank you to the creative youth and caring adults who made this impactful project a success! 🍀
