Inola Middle School Choir spent the day at Guthrie Masonic Temple for Heartland Music Festival. They received Sweepstakes for straight 1’s in their performance!

The rest of the day was spent at Frontier City for a fantastic close to a year of work!

7th/8th Grade - Afternoon, 5th-7th hour
Thursday May 2nd - High School
HS - Morning May 2nd, 1st-3rd hours
Our community performances will be -Tickets are $10
Thursday May 2nd - Opening show at 7pm
Friday May 3rd - show at 7pm
Sunday May 5th - show at 3pm

Inola Choir students who qualified for State Solo & Ensemble today drove down to Crossings Christian School to compete! 3 Superior ratings and 2 Excellent ratings at state! These students are amazingly talented, we are blessed to work with them every day!

St. Louis 2024 was a success! The Inola Choir was able to have so many memorable moments going to the beautiful Union Station, laser tag, the St. Louis Zoo, the Arch, City Museum, Six Flags, and the Meremac Caverns!!

Our performance was one for the books as well. We received Superior ratings (Gold) from our performance and placed 1st in our class. Amazing work guys!!

Students participated in Solo & Ensemble yesterday at Pryor. We had 11 performances, 5 received excellent ratings (2’s), and 6 received superior ratings (1’s). High school students with superior ratings will advance to STATE in April.

Today was a great opportunity to learn from! These students have been working hard for their performance at District today.

The High School and Middle School Mixed Choirs both received “good” ratings of 3’s. The stage performance did not pan out how we hoped, but there is a great silver lining today.

The Middle School got an “excellent” rating of 2 in sight reading! The High School received “superior” ratings of 1 in sight reading!

Proud of these kids and their hard work.

Lillian Weatherly, Ella Pankratz, Mailey Pankratz, and Lillian Moore participated in OU Women’s Choral Leadership Workshop on Friday, February 16th.

The ensemble was made up of section leaders from around the state, who worked with clinician Cynthia Douglas, Head Director of Cypress Ranch High School in Texas.

Thanks to Dr. David Howard and Daryl Nagode for coordinating the event and allowing us to sing in the beautiful Catlett Music Center!!

OKMEA 2024 All State Choir
Sophomore Mailey Pankratz joins the State Honor Choir conducted by Z. Randall Stroope.

During this process, 1626 students auditioned from 126 schools. 205 students from 71 schools were selected to be in the State Mixed Choir.
