Fun fact: Over the summer, one of our staff members, Mrs. Charlyne, was accepted into the Herzog Foundation’s Teaching Institute! She had the opportunity to spend a week in Washington, D.C., learning about the history of the Bible and visiting the Museum of the Bible. Here are some pictures from her time in the museum.

She gained so much knowledge from this incredible experience, and we’re excited for her to share what she learned with our students in their history classes this year!

A special thank you to the Herzog Foundation for providing such amazing opportunities and resources for Christian schools!

Our play village is done just in time for everyone to enjoy it Monday! It’s sure to be a new recess staple, complete with a block station, trading post, mud kitchen, farmer’s market, water wall, music wall, magnet wall, weaving station, construction and building zone, and a car/train station.

🚧✨ We’ve been hard at work this summer, and we’re so excited to share that our Outdoor Play Village is almost complete!

At Exodus Academy, we believe some of the best learning happens outside. Research continues to show that outdoor play supports creativity, problem-solving, social skills, language development, confidence, and emotional well-being. That’s why we’ve spent the summer transforming our outdoor space into an imaginative village where learning and play come together.

Each pallet station has been thoughtfully designed with its own theme and hands-on activity. This is a sneak peek at our Car Station, where students can immerse themselves in imaginative play with garage parking, road signs, ramps, roads, and plenty of opportunities to create their own adventures.

And that’s just the beginning! Our Play Village will also include:

We’re so excited to officially introduce one of our newest spaces at Exodus Academy—The Eagle’s Nest, our outdoor sensory garden!

This isn’t just a beautiful place to play. It’s an intentional learning environment where students can explore, create, regulate, and grow through hands-on experiences in nature.

Research shows that sensory gardens can help children:

🌼 Reduce stress and anxiety
