Scribe & Scholar has a permanent home!!! 🎉🎉🎉. We are SO EXCITED to start school tomorrow in our new building!

After months of searching, with no success, this sweet little space came open and we knew we had to make it ours. ❤️

A crew of parents and students have spent 10 days working hard to bring this space to life. Steam cleaning, wiping down walls and furniture, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, organizing, building furniture, and so much more…. We can’t wait to welcome our students, new and old, tomorrow morning!

We had SO MUCH FUN rolling dice and creating Picasso faces with kiddos at the Upstate Homeschool Expo tonight!

As our year came to a close last month, we had a lot to follow up and do… BUT a very important final piece is providing a huge thank you to Southernn Mama & Co's Faith Shack for helping to make our inaugural year an amazing one!

The space, both indoors and out, was perfect for learning, fun, and lots of sunshine as we served our students! ☀️❤️☀️

We are still smiling about our End-of-Year Showcase at Scribe & Scholar last month! 🎉

One of the highlights of the day was watching our students confidently present on topics they are passionate about. From fascinating historical figures and events and scientific discoveries to creative interests and personal passions, each presentation reflected the curiosity, hard work, and unique gifts of our learners.

We are incredibly proud of the growth our students exhibited this past year—not only in their knowledge, but also in their confidence, communication skills, and willingness to share what they have learned with others. Seeing them stand before family, friends, and fellow students to teach, inspire, and engage was a wonderful reminder of the power of personalized, interest-driven learning.

Thank you to our students for their dedication, to our families for their support, and to Miss Rhonda for encouraging a love of learning every step of the way. What a joy it was to celebrate another successful year together!

🎵 Like a good neighbor… Tom Roylston-State Farm Agent is there!

Not only did our AMAZING neighbors let us use their back yard to try our bottle rocket experiment today - they popped in with goody bags for our visiting families for Open House tonight!

We’re so lucky to have awesome and knowledgeable businesses nearby, like Tom and his team! They love to keep up with what our small, but mighty, crew is doing and can’t wait to see what crazy experiment or game we’ll get into next. 😂

📢 A little plug for our older homeschool friends: Reach out to Tom and his team. They’ll come visit your co-op, pod, etc. to talk to your teens about insurance; why it is important, how insurance needs change through life, and insurance as a career!
