If you haven't given yet this Christmas Season or have room to give more, come get an angel off our tree and give to those in need!! ❤❤ My sweet helpers decorated and we still have about 10 needed items for kids this Christmas!! Hey friends!! Sorry it's been so long since we've posted!! We just recently added a preschool room! 🎉💕🙌We are so excited to have a separate space so our students can better concentrate on learning!! We had to get creative but we figured out something that works!! 😃 Also, we are having so much fun that we now have a waiting list because we have so many friends joining us!! You want to get on it if you're not already with us so you can have first dibs if anything changes!! We are adding a few new teachers as well and so happy to have such a large Sunshine Place Family to help each other through these strange times!! Thank you for being such a wonderful community and for donating any items that help us be better!! WE ❤ OUR AWESOME FAMILIES!!! 💞💞💞

Sunshine Place is filling up!! If you want a spot for daycare or preschool, please message here or text (208) 380-8416 ASAP. You can call but sometimes the calls won't go through! (We've tried different internet providers and the area where the daycare is located struggles with Wi-Fi service or cell phone reception)! You can stop by any time from 7-6 to check out our place or sign up for preschool! 🌞🌞🌞
We are also looking for happy and loving staff members as a couple of our teachers are going back to school! 😭 We will have 1 fulltime and 1 part time job available! You will need a criminal history background check and get certified in pediatric first aid/CPR. (SP can help you get started on that if you haven't already completed one or both). 🌞 If you're interested, please drop off a resume or message me!! 😃

Hey everyone!! As we start to open up for non-essential care, I hope everyone knows we are doing our best to be responsible and loving caregivers for your children!! We have strict rules of care going forward to lessen any risk of shared germs or sickness of any kind. We have sanitizer to meet you at the door, please use it for yourself and children before entering. If any of you have been around sickness, please arrange for other care until the possibility of being sick also has passed. We sanitize all areas and toys several times throughout the day and separation of areas and ages have been arranged in order to lower risk. We appreciate your help in keeping our facility safe from any cold and flu!! We are in this together and Sunshine Place is a family of caregivers, children, and parents helping each other everyday! ❤❤❤ Hope to see you soon!! We miss our family members!!! 🌞🌞

Sunshine Place is striving to be super clean and germ-free and clean all the time!!! 😃

If any of you have an extra 1 or 2 cans of disinfectant spray (gets rid of 99.9 % or more of germs kind) that I can buy from you, I am down to 1/2 a can which will last me through today! There are just some things you can't wipe down with sanitizing wipes and liquid cleaners that I need an aerosol can for!!! 😊

Hello friends!!😀 I can't tell you how grateful I am to all of you who have reached out to check and make sure we have the supplies we need to keep going and even offered up your own if we are need! ❤❤ You all are amazing people and I am the luckiest person in the world!! Now, to business:
Sunshine Place is considered an essential service for those people who work at essential jobs! For the next 21 days, we will continue to serve those who need us at this time! We continue to use the proper cleaning products on every toy, surface, and space in the daycare everyday while strictly enforcing proper hand washing before eating and after bathroom use and many times in between as well! We are doing our best to keep our staff and kiddos healthy and happy! As before, we cannot accept anyone into care showing any symptoms of sickness. We are sad to be without ALL of our Sunshine Place family! We miss our parents/grandparents/children who are quarantining at home!! We are looking forward to the day we can all be together again!! We love you all!!! ❤🌞❤🌞❤🌞

Hi my friends!! I had a talk with Mayor Max tonight as I was closing up the daycare. In order to be a responsible business owner In our community, I have put a plan in place to keep small daycare groups in different areas of the daycare to keep anything from spreading. Luckily, I can set-up 3 separate areas in which I can keep small groups of children and enough teachers to cover those areas if needed for those families who absolutely NEED daycare. We are closing all unnecessary programs such as preschool and gym drop-ins. We are asking families who have alternative care to use that instead of Sunshine Place in order to leave space available for families without an alternative in care. We don't want to cause a hardship for anyone so if you have questions or concerns, please feel free to text or call (Sarah May) Sunshine Place @208-380-8416. Thank you so much for your care and concern for the children and families in our community and your help in keeping our area COVID19 free!! ❤❤❤

Hey everyone! Sunshine Place is still open and so happy to serve our community. However, in order to keep our kiddos safe and well, we cannot have any children in care with the following:
green or yellow boogers in the nose,
Crusty or red swollen eyes (if no known allergies are related),
a low/high grade fever with in 24 hours before care,
consistent coughing or sneezing.
Sunshine Place sanitizes everything in the daycare every night after the kiddos leave as well as sanitizes anything found in contact with a kiddo's mouth. We also wash our hands all of the time. The efforts our staff puts in to keep everyone safe and well are in vain if we allow children with the above symptoms to be present. If we all do our part and try hard to keep everyone healthy, we can continue to have a safe well-child facility available for children to enjoy while parents are at work. I hope we can all do our part to keep these viruses from spreading!! Thanks so much for your cooperation!!
