This historic 1960s photo features Martial Arts and Martial Science Icon Bill Ryusaki (RIP), teaching his students in Hawaii. It is courtesy of Martial Arts Legend, Historian, Emil Farkas. Grandmaster Farkas, told a wonderful story about Bill Ryusaki, how they met and the fond memories that came to him, when he came across the picture in his archives. I also have awesome memories of my time working out in a class taught by Bill Ryusaki, at his San Fernando Valley Dojo in 1970. Along with my teacher Steve Muhammad (Sanders), the incredible Urquidez Family, Cecil Peoples, Richard Moton, and BKF members. One of the most exciting training sessions of my martial arts career ever. Thank you Emil Farkas, for sharing such an amazing photo and history.
