We hosted an interactive assembly with an exclusive performance by BLXST for the Tigers & I think it’s safe to say, they indeed had a BLASTTTT 😎 thank you POWER 106 for joining us to make the assembly a hit and thank you PRO CLUB 🇺🇸 for bringing free fresh white tee’s to pass out to the students! 🙌🏾

We know that Education is key and it’s important that our boys and girls are showing up to school and that joy is present in their classrooms! We need our students at school and they deserve a quality education and the opportunity to SUCCEED! 🔑

Thanks to the EVGLE team for showing up for the youth and pouring into their spirits & calling on us to be apart! 🤝🏾

Every project, every stage, every collaboration is an opportunity to add value, not just to be seen. 🫡

MESSAGE! 💌

Education is about more than scholarships—it’s about access, empowerment, resilience, and opportunity. 🔑

At Education Is Key, we want every young person we serve to know they are worthy, capable, and equipped to pursue the future they envision. Our goal isn’t simply to meet an immediate need—it’s to help students build the confidence, resources, and support needed to become self-sufficient and create lasting success. 🏁

Because when we invest in a student, the impact reaches far beyond that one moment. We’re investing in families, communities, and the next generation of leaders. 👩🏽‍🎓👨🏽‍🎓

It’s bigger than scholarships. It’s PURPOSE! 🔑

Support & donate at www.eduiskey.org as we continue to raise money for scholarships for inner city students of Los Angeles 🙏🏾

Message from founder: College is a key—but it is not the ONLY key. 🔑

Success can begin at a four-year university, community college, trade or vocational school, apprenticeship, CTE program, coding bootcamp, workforce-development program, or another accredited educational pathway.

At Education Is Key, we believe education is not one-size-fits-all. No credible path toward knowledge, opportunity, stability, and purpose is “less than” another. What matters is that students continue learning, developing real skills, and choosing the route that supports the future they want to build.

Your journey does not have to look like anyone else’s to be valuable. Tag a student who needs this reminder. 💗🔑

Congratulations to our WE OUTSIDE 2026 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS 🔑☀️🛝🏀🤸🏽‍♀️

This year we were able to add a free 5-week “WE OUTSIDE” summer camp program along with our annual WE OUTSIDE community field day event where we were able to not only offer our annual WE OUTSIDE scholarships to our local youth, but directly to students that participated in our summer camp program as well! 🙌🏾

Since our very first WE OUTSIDE in 2022, we’ve made it a priority to pour back into local student athletes by providing scholarships to support their hobbies, passions, and back-to-school expenses. 🎓🏀✨

WE OUTSIDE is about more than a day at the park. It’s about creating a free, safe space for our community to reconnect — to unplug from our screens, put our phones down, be present with our families, meet our neighbors, and simply enjoy being outside. ⛅️🛝🤸🏽‍♀️

And while we’re having fun, we’re also making sure our community has access to local resources, information, and organizations that can help meet real social needs. 🤝🏽🔑

Community. Connection. Resources. Fun. Opportunity. That’s what WE OUTSIDE is all about. 🤗

Until next year! 👋🏽

Shout out to HHLA for also hosting a free basketball tournament for the kids at this year’s WE OUTSIDE Community Field Day event 2026, brought to you by their Morals of the Game program 🏀🔑

Our free activations are not made possible without our partners that join us every year and commit themselves to giving back to the community’s local families & youth with their resources and/or services! 🙌🏾🤝🏾

It’s important that represents the multifaceted opportunities and intention we bring through our events & social impact partnerships- it may look like a lot of fun, but there’s always purpose as well that transfers in a way where folks receive more than support, but seeds planted within them that brings joy, empowerment, love, encouragement and more!

These are the kinds of human transactions we look to bring in hopes of uplifting someone’s mindset, spirit & trajectory of whatever path they’re headed, that’ll push them toward their goals, achievement, & future success! 🤞🏾🏁

Big shoutout to our partners HHLA for hosting this year’s free We Outside Speed & Agility Football Camp! 🏈 Their professional coaches poured into our local youth and aspiring athletes the morning of our annual We Outside Community Field Day! ☀️🛝🤸🏽‍♀️🔑

Every year we look to grow with our partners in ways that expand access to free resources and opportunities that plant seeds and can positively shift someone’s life trajectory. 🙏🏾

We love growing with our community and we can’t wait to see you all again, plus more, next year! 🤞🏾

We absolutely love being OUTSIDE with COMMUNITY! 🤸🏽‍♀️🤞🏾🔑 thank you Phillipa Imani Clo. for joining us and bringing the Pi DYE STATION back for the folks to customize their own We Outside merch! 🫟🙌🏾👩🏽‍🎨

See you all next year! 🤗

WE OUTSIDE is expanding! 🥹🤸🏽‍♀️🙌🏾🔑

Summer 2026 we’ve had the privilege of teaming up with Building College Success & HHLA to implement our We Outside summer camp alongside BCS Math summer camp! ⛺️

In our collaborative summer camp, students unplugged from screens & played outside & got active! They also improved not only their math skills, but their CONFIDENCE with math that will be able to carry them through their next grade levels along their education journey with the intentions of helping our students remain prepared and caught up so that as they elevate, they will be able to keep up academically & mentally. 🧠

We were outside exercising our brains & bodies this summer 🤸🏽‍♀️ and I am just truly grateful for every student and staff that spent a portion of their summer with us for a wonderful cause! AND YOU KNOW WE GAVE OUT SOME SCHOLARSHIPS TOO! 🙌🏾🫶🏽✖️➗➕➖⚽️🏀🏈⚾️☀️🛝⛺️🔑
