As many of you know, the Inglewood Unified School District (IUSD) and Warren Lane have developed a wonderful partnership with Jared Goff, quarterback of the Detroit Lions and former quarterback of the Los Angeles Rams. Jared’s support and work off the field are aligned to our District and school’s mission and equity principle to support our students to have the best opportunities to achieve academic success and to be college and career ready.
Here at Warren Lane Elementary School, we are committed to teaching our students the importance of literacy, the fundamentals of reading and developing our students’ love of learning. Research shows that reading is an important predictor of academic success and graduation. Our vision and passion is to provide learning opportunities to plant and flourish that love of reading. Jared Goff also believes in our commitment to literacy and lifelong learning.
Most recently, proceeds from JG16, Jared Goff’s official collection, went towards renovating our very own Warren Lane Elementary School library. We recently had the opportunity to record the reveal of the library, and we are thrilled to share it with our Inglewood community!
