Martin County Cross Country on the move!!

Darn proud of this crew who came out today to compete at Chief Logan State Park! Most kids their age don’t want to wake up at the crack of dawn, travel across state lines, and race miles through rivers and mountains, but they aren’t most kids 😉.

We’ll have a recovery run practice this coming Monday at the school beginning at 3:45 with 5:00 parent pickup. I will post information on our next possible competition this coming week, it should take place in early September!

Attention all musical theater lovers!! We are starting on our fall musical with grades 2- 12. If your child is interested in auditioning please come Wednesday Aug 19th to the audition workshop. Audition Open to all Martin County Students grades 2-12.

Martin County will join our friends and neighbors across Johnson County in wearing PINK on Monday, August 17, in honor of Carissa and in support of her family.
At times like this, school colors, district lines, and rivalries do not matter. We are one community. We stand together to surround this family, Carissa’s friends, classmates, and all who loved her with support.
We are asking our Martin County faculty, staff, students, families, and community members to wear pink on Monday as a visible reminder that no family in our community stands alone during a difficult time.
To our neighbors at Johnson County Schools and to Carissa’s family: Martin County stands with you. 🩷

A fire alarm was accidentally set off in the ATC. There was no fire or emergency. Fire department responded and cleared the building.
