Our students welcomed staff sergeant Gallegos to discuss a career in the U.S. Army. Sergeant Gallegos emphasized making good choices and not giving up on your goals. He encouraged students to go out of their comfort zones and find people who are supportive and helpful. Our students were able to have their questions answered and were even invited to participate in workout sessions with the team!

For the students in our school, it can be tricky to figure out what they are going to do after high school. We are thankful for Deputy Sheriff Paul Abrego who came and spoke to the class about his career in the sheriff's department. His advice to all who are interested in this field is "Explore, don't be afraid to ask questions, and always have a plan B."
