Ruben went from having meetings for his low attendance just 5 months ago to having perfect attendance and making honor roll this quarter. He received a $50 gift card and certificate for improvement from our district attendance personnel. Eagles SOAR

Our students purchased a challenging hike to the Mecca grottos. They got to go into caves formed by tectonic action. It was a great achievement.

Good Day Eagles Community

Our thrift store volunteers have been working on a student project and we are excited to share it with you.
Staff and students are working together to organize a clothing drive for the community.

The clothing drive will begin on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 through Friday February 14, 2025. We encourage you to drop off any gently used clothes you would like to donate. We will be collecting any clothes, canned foods, or water bottles that you have. The goal is to deliver the donations to some of the field camp workers located in Mecca.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Clyde ‘Pops,’ a cherished member of the Amistad High School family. Pops was more than a staff member—he was a mentor, a friend, and a source of constant encouragement for both students and staff. His warm smile, unwavering patience, and genuine care for every student who crossed his path left a lasting impact on our school community.

We are forever grateful for the countless ways Pops touched our lives. His memory will live on in the halls of Amistad and in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in peace, Pops—you will be deeply missed.
