✨ Math in Action! ✨

Ms. Maggio’s third graders put their thinking caps on while reviewing Topic 1! They were given the division equation 15 ÷ 3 = 5 and challenged to create their own word problem to match. ➗📚

Talk about putting their math skills to work! We love seeing our students think creatively and make sense of math! ❤️🖤

This week, WPBF meteorologist Nikki Sheaks shared her weather expertise with some of our Warriors! Our students enjoyed learning about the wacky weather we’ve been experiencing over the past few days. Thank you, Nikki, for making science come alive at Warfield!

Today is Line Worker Appreciation Day!

Our friends at FPL shared their time and talents with our first-grade Warriors and our students certainly appreciated it! They loved learning about the FPL bucket truck and meeting Spot, the robotic dog. Spot showed off some incredible skills, and our Warriors were truly impressed!

Even though today was all about celebrating line workers, the FPL team still found a way to spoil our staff members, too. They are heroes in so many ways!

Thank you, FPL, for serving our community and creating such a memorable experience for our students!

Science came to life in Ms. Morris’ fourth-grade classroom today! After reading about owls, our Warriors dissected owl pellets to discover what owls eat. They absolutely loved this exciting, hands-on learning experience! 🦉

Ms. Behringer’s first graders became young scientists during an exciting magnet investigation! They explored, observed, and tested different objects to discover which materials magnets attract. Hands-on learning is always engaging at Warfield!

Congratulations to Warfield’s Summer Reading Challenge Champions! These boys rocked the Summer AR Challenge! They splashed into an ocean of reading and earned the highest AR scores in their grade levels! Education Foundation of Martin County
