Shoutout to City State Bank in Norwalk for supporting Warren County 4-Hers and their community! Thank you for continuing to make the best better! 🍀

Thanks to City State Bank for their donation of ground beef! They purchased a 4-H steer at the Warren County Fair auction and donated the resulting ground beef to local food pantries, supporting our Warren County 4-H youth while feeding our Norwalk neighbors. What a great way to support our community!

Congratulations to Jenny Young for being the 2026 inductee into the Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame!

Jenny’s involvement in Warren County 4-H spans generations, from growing up on her family’s farm and joining 4-H as a fourth grader to volunteering as a club leader for more than 10 years. She has served on the 4-H Youth Committee and Warren County Extension Council, always encouraging youth to focus on what they learn rather than the ribbon they receive.

Her favorite advice? Learn from your mistakes, try something outside your comfort zone, and remember that today’s mistakes can lead to tomorrow’s success. Jenny plans to stay involved with the fair through textile, culinary and genealogy exhibits, with plans to begin exhibiting at the Iowa State Fair and eventually become a 4-H static exhibit judge. We are proud to celebrate her incredible contributions and this well-deserved honor! 💚🍀

Join us on September 10 at 5:30 pm for a Cyclone Kitchen workshop! Attendees will become Meal Prep Masters and learn how to prepare recipes like Tex-Mex Quinoa Salad, Chicken Burrito Bowls / Stuffed Peppers, Seasoned Roasted Vegetables, and more.

Cyclone Kitchen is focused on bringing joy, back to cooking: you'll work alongside others in a relaxed environment, learn useful cooking skills, and get to try some delicious recipes that are perfect for a busy season at work or back-to-school.
