Good Evening, Carver Families! ❤️🤍🐏🏁

Let’s keep Accelerating Excellence by making strong attendance and punctuality a priority! Every day matters, and every minute of instruction counts. Please review these important arrival and attendance reminders:



🥣 7:00–7:30 AM — Breakfast is served.

🚪 7:00–7:35 AM — ALL students must enter through the cafeteria entrance.

🏫 After 7:35 AM — Students must be dropped off at the FRONT OFFICE. Please do not drop students off at the cafeteria entrance after 7:35.

⏰ After 7:45 AM — Students are TARDY and MUST be signed in by a parent/guardian at the office.

⚠️ 3 tardies in one week will restrict a student’s participation in Fun Friday or Dress Out activities.

🕑 2:15 PM — Students must remain at school until at least 2:15 PM to be counted PRESENT for the day.



Parents, we need your help getting our Rams to school every day, on time, and ready to learn! Establishing good habits now sets the tone for a successful school year.

Welcome Back & Open House

Welcome Back, Carver Family! 🐏🏁

Dear Carver Parents and Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Carver Elementary! We are excited to welcome our returning families and extend a special welcome to those joining the Carver family for the first time.

This year, we are Accelerating Excellence as we continue our mission to be Driven by Purpose. Fueled by Love. Empowered through Learning. We believe that Every Child Needs a Champion, and we look forward to partnering with you to make this an outstanding year of learning, growth, and achievement for every Carver Ram!

🏁 OPEN HOUSE — Monday, August 3, 2026 | 4:00–6:00 PM

We encourage all parents and students to attend. During Open House, families will have the opportunity to meet our administrators and teachers, receive student schedules, sign up for PTO, and receive important information and expectations for the 2026–2027 school year.

New Parent Orientation will be held from 5:30–6:00 PM in the gym. If your family is new to Carver, we especially encourage you to attend this session.

We are excited about what lies ahead and can't wait to see our students and families on August 3rd. Together, we're ready to make 2026–2027 a championship year!

Today we celebrated the incredible achievements of our Carver Elementary 4th & 5th Grade students at the Promotion & Awards Ceremony for 2025-2026 School Year! 🎓✨ Congratulations to all of our students for their hard work, growth, and success throughout the school year.

A very special thank you to Principal Moore, Assistant Principal Johnson, Counselor Johnson, Academic Coach Berdin-George, Secretary Brown, and all of our amazing 4th & 5th Grade teachers and assistant teachers for your dedication, support, and commitment to our students each day. 🗣️🗣️🗣️Calling on the of Indianola🫵🏽

As we prepare to begin tomorrow 4-29-26, we are excited to introduce a special initiative to support and uplift our students:

“Drop-Off by Dads” ‼️ 🧔🏽‍♂️👴🏽👨🏽‍🦳👱🏼‍♂️🧔🏻‍♂️

We are inviting all fathers, grandfathers, uncles, older brothers, mentors, and positive male role models to personally drop students off at school tomorrow morning. Your presence matters more than you may realize.

Research consistently shows that when fathers and positive male figures are actively involved in a child’s education, students are more likely to:

* Perform better academically
* Demonstrate stronger confidence and focus
* Show improved behavior and motivation in school

Simply put—your presence helps set the tone for .

Even if you are unable to attend in person, we ask that you take a moment tonight and each morning during testing to:

* Send a quick text
* Make a phone call
* Leave a note of encouragement

A simple “You’ve got this,” or “I’m proud of you—go do your best,” can make a powerful difference in how our students approach these important assessments.
