Maggie the Moomaid made it to my elementary school; Evening Street!!! What a magical day! Meeting and reading with K-5 scholars, visiting classrooms, and talking about the difference between teasing, bullying, and prejudice. The scholars, in return, offered feedback, ideas for creative next steps for Maggie, along with effortful art and song. Helpers, leaders, and thinkers, indeed!
