🦊 Learning Spotlight: Letter of the Week – Ff 🔤
This week, our little learners are exploring the letter Ff for Fox! 🦊
Through stories, songs, hands-on activities, and play, children are building important early literacy skills while learning to recognize both uppercase and lowercase Ff.
This week we'll be practicing:
🦊 F is for Fox
🐟 F is for Fish
🌸 F is for Flower
🦶 F is for Foot
At Bumble & Bloom, we know that children learn best when they're actively engaged. That's why we introduce new letters through meaningful, hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity, language development, and a love of learning.
🏡 Parent Connection: As you're out and about this week, see how many things your child can find that start with the letter F. Can they spot a flower, a flag, a fan, or even some fruit? Every conversation helps strengthen early reading skills!
💬 Question of the Week: What other words can your child think of that begin with the letter F? Share them in the comments—we'd love to see how many we can come up with!

Kindness is one of the most important lessons we teach.
At Bumble & Bloom, learning isn't just about letters and numbers—it's also about learning how to be a caring friend.
This week, our classrooms are exploring the difference between helpful and hurtful choices while practicing kindness, empathy, and respect.
Children learn these important life skills by:
🤝 Sharing with friends
💛 Using kind words
😊 Taking turns
👂 Listening to others
❤️ Helping classmates
🧩 Solving problems together
These everyday moments help children build confidence, create positive relationships, and develop the social skills they'll use for years to come.
Every act of kindness—big or small—helps create a classroom where everyone feels safe, valued, and included.
🏡 Parent Connection: Ask your child, "What is one kind thing you did for a friend today?" Celebrating these moments helps reinforce kindness both at school and at home.
💬 Question of the Week: What's the kindest thing someone has ever done for you? We'd love to read your stories in the comments!

Every day our kiddos big and small are doing hands on activities in class. This week we are working on the first letter of our names and also painting with different materials! Wouldn’t be a complete week without some sensory+science at our “pizza dough” station. Come visit us this Saturday from 10am-1pm for our open house. We’re going to have refreshments and some community partners out to celebrate along with some of our lovely staff to tour our rooms and get to know us ❤ like I’ve said before former families and already enrolled are also more than welcome 🤗 this is a community event. 🚒 Why do we practice fire drills?
At Bumble & Bloom, safety is always our top priority.
Practicing fire drills helps children become familiar with what to do during an emergency in a calm, age-appropriate way. By practicing regularly, children learn to:
❤️ Stay calm
👂 Listen carefully to their teachers
🚶 Walk safely together
🛡️ Build confidence instead of fear
We keep our drills positive, reassuring, and developmentally appropriate so children know their teachers are there to keep them safe every step of the way.
Preparing today helps protect tomorrow. 💛
💬 Parents: Have you ever talked about emergency plans at home with your child?
