Congratulations to our February Greek New Member Scholar of the Month, RACHEL KRUG!!

Rachel is a freshman from St. Louis, Missouri, in Gamma Phi Beta!! Far away from her family, she decided to join a sorority in hopes of finding a home away from home.. and she did!!! While she is currently undecided on her major, she is interested in aspects of business, such as advertising and marketing, and someday hopes to attend graduate school to earn her MBA. Rachel has studied 3 languages (she plans to minor in German!) and hopes to study abroad in Europe during her junior year! During the remainder of her undergraduate years, she hopes to further her involvement and gain leadership within her chapter, as well as the Panhellenic community as a whole.

Outside of Greek life, Rachel is involved in the Bentson Scholars Student Association, the Freshman Leadership board and Photography Internship at Minnesota Hillel, and the a ca****la group, Minnesota Chai Notes. Despite her very busy schedule, she values her education more than anything and made the Fall 2016 Dean's List during her first semester!!

Your drive and dedication are truly admirable, Rachel! Thank you for positively representing the Greek community-- keep up the good work!!

MEET THE MEMBERS OF JPHC!!! Next up is Vice President of Member Development, EMILY GORTON!

Emily is a member of DELTA GAMMA, and spent her summer working as a lifeguard at Valleyfair! She has a cat named Justin (may or may not be named after JBiebs), and loves to dance her heart out. Her advice to incoming new members is, "Make friends with the upperclassman! They have been in your shoes, they have advice, and if they don't, they'll at least be there to say "college is hard, so lets go and do something that's not school work, and deal with life tomorrow!"
