Leadership isn’t about having the answer. It’s about knowing what to do when there isn’t one.

What if the way we’ve been preparing teachers isn’t enough anymore? We think it can be better.

Celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week with exciting alumni news!
Congratulations to Jenny Hernandez, a 2025 Marian University Klipsch Educators College elementary education graduate, who was named Elementary New Teacher of the Year for Warren Township.
With 10 elementary schools across the district, this recognition is an incredible testament to the way Jenny is already making an impact as a new educator. In sharing the news, Jenny reflected on the KEC faculty who helped shape her journey, saying they taught her “to teach with passion and with love.”
We are so proud to see Jenny carrying that passion into her own classroom and leading with heart, purpose, and care for her students.
Congratulations, Jenny!

Excited to continue growing one of our favorite traditions!
This spring, Klipsch Educators College hosted Family STEM Night with Vision Academy students and their families. We partnered with a REID partner, and we’re hopeful this becomes an annual spring event with Vision.
“The family STEM night is a great opportunity for our future science educators to put their content knowledge into practice with local elementary students and their families. The Marian students plan the event, create the marketing materials, and translate all resources into Spanish to make the event more accessible for families. The family STEM night is the highlight of the semester for me and the students in the science course!”
Grateful for the partnership and everyone who made the night such a success!
