🚨This past weekend I participated in a Spartan race. I know I have posted about this previously but let me tell you why this is such a big accomplishment for me. I was an offensive lineman from the time I was 9, and I was told I needed to get bigger. Then when I was in high school I wrestled heavyweight. Lastly when I was in college I gained a ton of weight and got up to 275+ pounds. I have never been a runner or ever done anything this athletic before. I guess what I’m trying to say is everyone is capable of something they don’t think they are. Your mind is powerful, if you are able to train your mind you can train your body! Get out of your comfort zone and do something that is different! You will thank yourself for it later! 💪🏻😁💥🏃🏻♂️
I think this means I’m a #spartan now🤔! This race was extremely tough but I think in all it was a great gauge of my overall fitness! My goal was 2 hours and I did it in an hour and a half!

Well there it is.. the last run before my #spartanrace this Saturday! Tomorrow will be a long walk to keep the hips and legs loose, I’ve trained hard and honestly if nothing else I changed my body in these last 5 months! It’s been fun but I think I’m ready!
