June Volunteer Appreciation
Building a Stronger Foundation for Psi Upsilon.
Thank you to all of our volunteers and committee members!
Recent years have seen a re-emergence of energized participation of our brothers throughout all levels of Psi Upsilon . We want to spend June honoring and recognizing the volunteers who make the Psi Upsilon experience reach far beyond college years.
From sharing their insights in the Speaker Series, through serving on our established boards and committees, to pioneering new programs like our Social Impact Fellowship, Gilrane Economic Symposium, and the venture summit, more alumni than ever are using Psi Upsilon to remain active in our fraternity. This month alone we are launching a New Psi Upsilon Foundation signature event in Washington DC; the Psi U Hill Day.
By engaging with these and other programs and committees, Psi U brothers of all chapters and ages use our Fraternity to enrich their own lives and serve as an inspiration to younger brothers.
Look forward to posts throughout the month highlighting different committees and groups of volunteers highly involved in programs of Psi Upsilon.

On this Memorial Day, we remember with deep gratitude the brothers and loved ones of Psi Upsilon who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. We honor their courage, their memory, and their legacy.

Psi U launched our stakeholder survey on Wednesday, and we’re grateful for the strong response so far! You should have received an email invitation—if not, please update your contact information at https://psiu.wufoo.com/forms/update-your-address/ and we’ll send you a copy so you can participate.
Over the past year, the Executive Council and Foundation Boards have focused on strengthening Psi Upsilon’s future by improving communication, expanding programming, and enhancing engagement across the brotherhood. This survey is your opportunity to help shape that work. Whether you’re an undergraduate, alumnus, volunteer, donor, or friend of the fraternity, your voice matters.
To encourage participation over Memorial Day weekend, everyone who completes the survey between Friday and end of day Monday will be entered into a special drawing for a $50 Amazon Gift Card.

We’re excited to share more graduation spotlights featuring seniors from the Pi Chapter at Syracuse University and the Beta Beta Chapter at Trinity College!
To all our graduating brothers: thank you for the time, energy, and leadership you’ve invested in your chapters and in Psi Upsilon. Your contributions have strengthened our fraternity and enriched the undergraduate experience for those who follow.
As you step into your next chapter, remember that the undergraduate years are only the beginning of our Mighty Friendship.
Psi U is for Life!

On this day 97 years ago—May 18, 1929—William Howard Taft, Beta 1878 (Yale) was honored at the Psi Upsilon Convention held at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., during his tenure as Chief Justice of the United States. When Convention organizer Barry Mohun, Eta 1896 (Lehigh) invited him personally, Chief Justice Taft’s secretary explained that he no longer attended large gatherings or social functions. But when Taft learned the invitation was from Psi Upsilon, he simply replied:
“This is Psi U—this is different.”

Some chapters closed out the academic year by welcoming spring on the golf course. The Pi Chapter at Syracuse University hosted its annual "Psi U Open", while the Eta Chapter at Lehigh University launched a new tradition with its inaugural spring golf tournament—both events bringing brothers together for camaraderie, competition, and celebration!

It’s graduation season—send us your Psi U graduation photos!
Congratulations to the graduating seniors of the Epsilon Nu Chapter at Michigan State, Lambda Sigma Chapter at Pepperdine, and Sigma Phi Chapter at St. Francis and all our graduating brothers.
Thank you for your dedication and leadership as undergraduates. Your journey in Psi Upsilon doesn’t end here—it enters a new chapter, because Psi U is for Life!
