Pike High School Educator Highlights Student Success

As part of his Master's Coursework, Carson Krutz, who teaches math, serves as the Academic Coach for Pike Football and recently graduated from our district's Leadership Academy, crafted a newsletter to highlight the accomplishments of six members of the Class of 2026 and showcase how Pike High School is preparing students for their "next door" - be it enrollment, enlistment, or employment.

Mr. Krutz shared:

"In Pike Township, our mission is to “cultivate a diverse, innovative learning environment by opening doors of opportunity for students to achieve their maximum potential.” As we approach graduation, we are beginning to see evidence of this mission in action through the diverse paths our seniors have chosen.

By balancing academic rigor with hands-on experience, Pike High School ensures every graduate is prepared for their “next door.” We recognize that each student’s educational journey is unique. Whether our graduates are pursuing higher education, entering the workforce, or enlisting to serve our country, the foundation they built has set them up to be successful in the future. By prioritizing both academic rigor and hands-on experience, our staff at Pike High School ensures that every Pike student is prepared for their "next door,” be it Enrollment, Enlistment, or Employment.

We are proud to spotlight six seniors who embody these pathways and demonstrate how our school community prepares leaders for every sector of society. Each student shared how their experiences at Pike High School have shaped their journeys and prepared them for their lives after graduation. To provide a full picture of our seniors' success, we have highlighted two students from each of our primary pathways: Enrolling in a college or university, Enlisting in the military, and Employment in the workforce."
