Indiana Law Review is hosting its annual Symposium on Friday, February 14, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. in the Wynne Courtroom at IU McKinney. The 2025 Indiana Law Review Symposium, Raise Your Hand, Not Your Voice: Freedom of Speech in Higher Education, will examine the current landscape of free speech on college campuses, discussing challenges, best practices, and legal considerations surrounding the right to express diverse viewpoints within the academic environment.

In their blog post, Adam Mueller, Emily Peterson, Whitley Wynns, Steve Nisi, and Jack Turman, Jr. analyze community legal strategies available to address structural racism, economic inequities, discrimination against women and children, and lack of legal services/legislative action. Through community lawyering, such as creating handouts on tenant rights, the Health Justice Intervention works to address evictions that deferentially negatively impact the health and wellbeing of women of reproductive age and their young children.
