I know someone looking to sell their piano due to a move—hoping to sell for $200 and you would need to pay to have it moved. A professional piano mover is usually around $400. Let me know if interested and I’ll put you in touch with the seller. It is used, but is a good brand and been maintained well. However, everyone has a different preference for sound, so I always suggest going and playing an instrument before committing to buying. 😊

The Spring Piano Recital was a fun evening for all! We enjoyed all kinds of music centered around water and the island life! Fun duets and super cute beach outfits by all! We ended the evening with a beautiful showstopper by our graduating senior in the studio. Thank you to all who came!

Fabulous day at the NFMC Festival for South Indy! I was one of several judges, had several students in my studio participate, and had my daughter participating, as well! Great scores and a great time to foster and encourage musicianship.

We had a great Valentines week in the studio last week! Inching closer to our NFMC festival date, as well. Lots of learning and growing. 😊

Such a fabulous fall recital! I think the students played the best they ever have—perhaps due to the different time of year and super fun theme? And how nice to have one less event in December! So proud of all the students and their fun pieces. We had knocking, tapping, snapping, stomping, glissandos, and humorous lyrics to read!

Kesslee was the first student to get her second cord added for beads! Look at all those points she’s collecting!👏🤩

We have some new things in the studio this year! The new canvas above the piano caught my eye this summer, and I loved the quote—fits into so many area of life—not just music! But I love how applicable it is when working towards learning new music each week. The more effort and energy you put into something, the better the results will be! My husband also saved me $300 by framing it himself. 😅👏
Also, we have the wall of WOW (wall of wonder) this year. Students add beads to their cords to represent the points they earn each week. A way to brag and compete at the same time! Students earn the prizes in the studio by cashing in their points.
