Students for Fair Wages Students for Fair Wages works within the campus and surrounding community on socioeconomic issues and We first started by looking into issues of wage theft.

Students For Fair Wages began in the Fall 2013 class of Dr. Tom Marvin- Organizing for Social Action. We had the opportunity to meet and work with Fran Quiqley- clinical lawyer at the IU McKinney School of Law's Health and Human Rights Clinic; Nancy Holle- president of the Community Faith and Labor Coalition; and Kim Bobo, executive director of Interfaith Worker Justice and author of “Wage Theft i

n America.”

Then, what began as a class project became part of a movement. On December 5. 2013, SFFW joined the Fight for $15 strike. Since then, SFFW has continued to work on campus and in the community on socioeconomic and legislative issues.
