Congratulations to the AV Class of 2026! We celebrated our fifth graders one last time at their 5th Grade Celebration. This group has made a lasting impact on Allisonville, and we are excited to see all they accomplish at Eastwood and beyond. Good luck, Gators! 🐊

There has been a lot of fun in the library recently! Several students completed their Race to May reading challenge and participated in a Penny Wars competition to help support getting all students a book from the book fair. 🐊

The first-ever Gator Games all-school field day was a huge success, and even the mid-day rain couldn’t slow us down! The day began with Opening Ceremonies as Chompy carried in the torch and the entire school danced to “Golden.” Thanks to our amazing parent volunteers, students rotated through 12 different stations and enjoyed a day full of fun, teamwork, and school spirit. 🐊

Our 5th graders competed in the district field day on Friday and represented Allisonville well! Several Gators showcased their athleticism with strong performances throughout the event. 🐊

Yesterday, our kindergarten students competed in the Kindy 500! Students raced tricycles and participated in a variety of Indy 500–themed stations throughout the day. It was a fun way to celebrate one of Indiana’s favorite traditions. 🐊

We were excited to welcome back several former AV students today for the NC Grad Parade! Our students made signs and cheered on the seniors as they walked around the school. 🐊

We were excited to celebrate National Principal Day for Mrs. Reffett today in several different ways! We had a Taylor Swift themed dress up day, decorated her office, and staff members brought her random balloons throughout the day! Mr. Smith even started the day with his own song, “You Belong at AV,” inspired by Taylor Swift’s song! 🐊

On Wednesday, we had the opportunity to recognize our Gators at the school board meeting. We celebrated accomplishments, showcased the great work happening at our school, and recognized several partners who support our work. 🐊
