From sweet treats and surprises to thoughtful donations and encouraging words, our hearts are so full. Thank you to every family, church member, and supporter who has helped make Teacher Appreciation Week so special for our team. Your kindness and generosity truly mean more than words can say. 🌟

One of the sweetest parts of the week has been watching our teachers stop to read the “Wall of Love” messages from families. The encouraging words, heartfelt notes, and appreciation shared have meant so much to our staff and have truly reminded them how valued and loved they are. 🥹💛

Our teachers pour so much love, patience, compassion, and dedication into these children every single day, and we are so thankful to have the opportunity to celebrate them this week! 🍎🖍️

Our 2’s & 3’s friends have been busy exploring the wonderful world of BUGS this week! 🐞🕷️🐛 From colorful art projects to sensory play and bug-themed activities, our little learners are having SO much fun discovering, creating, and growing together. 🌈✨

Through hands-on experiences like painting, coloring, sorting, and creating creepy crawler masterpieces, children are building important early learning skills every single day, including:

As part of our “Learning Around the World” adventures, this week we are exploring the beautiful country of Australia — learning about its animals, culture, and unique habitats through hands-on play, stories, sensory experiences, and discovery.

The children have loved getting to learn about these fascinating little creatures and are having so much fun exploring a new part of the world together! 💛

🎨💙 No, we didn’t have the Blue Man Group stop by for a visit… but our Kindergarten Ready friends definitely had a BLAST with this messy, hands-on art experience! 😆🖐️

From head to toe (and maybe even a few noses 😅), our kiddos fully immersed themselves in creativity, color exploration, sensory play, and open-ended learning today!

In our infant classroom, we are already nurturing a love for learning and early literacy through simple, meaningful experiences. Our babies are coloring, exploring stickers, engaging with musical instruments, and discovering the world around them through their senses every single day. 🎨🎶

These early experiences may seem small, but they are incredibly powerful. From birth, children are building brain connections at a rapid pace. Sensory play, movement, music, and early exposure to books all support language development, motor skills, and social-emotional growth.

🌷 Spring Fun in Our 1’s & 2’s Classroom! 🌷

Our littlest learners have been busy exploring the life cycle of plants as we welcomed the spring season! 🌱 Through hands-on, play-based learning, we planted seeds, observed changes, and dove into books and conversations about all things spring—rainbows 🌈, birds 🐦, flowers 🌸, and new life all around us.

We also had so much fun celebrating Easter with engaging, developmentally appropriate activities like crafts, sensory bins, and Easter egg exploration! 🐣 These experiences help build fine motor skills, support sensory development, and encourage language growth—all while having fun.

At LHLP, we believe children learn best through play. Every day, our classrooms are filled with meaningful, hands-on experiences that support social-emotional growth, curiosity, and early learning skills in a way that feels natural and exciting for our children.
