Every once in a while, you have a day that reminds you exactly why you do what you do… and this past Friday was one of those days. ❤️🎪

Our very first LHLP Circus was more than just games, prizes, and cotton candy. It was a day filled with laughter, teamwork, kindness, and the kind of joy you can’t manufacture. Today was a core memory made kind of day!

Our camp kids and staff with help from Miss Kristen spent the week dreaming, planning, painting signs, making tickets, creating games, and getting everything ready for our youngest friends. On Friday, they proudly ran every booth, cheered on little ones, celebrated every win, and showed what it means to be leaders with kind hearts.

As I stood back and watched, I found myself fighting back tears. Seeing our teachers working together, watching older children encourage younger ones, hearing giggles echo through the halls, and witnessing so many genuine smiles reminded me that these are the moments that matter.

The decorations will come down. The prizes will be gone. The sugar highs will wear off. But the memories made this day—the feeling of belonging, the excitement, the confidence, and the love shared between our LHLP family—will last so much longer.

Childhood is made up of moments like these. Moments where children feel seen, encouraged, celebrated, and deeply loved. Those are the moments that shape hearts, build confidence, and become the memories they carry with them long after they’ve grown.

To our incredible staff: thank you for pouring your hearts into our children every single day.

To our amazing families: thank you for your generosity, your donations, and for trusting us with your greatest treasures.

And to our sweet kiddos… thank you for reminding us to laugh a little louder, dream a little bigger, and find joy in the simplest moments.

I’m so thankful God has called me to this work and entrusted me with these incredible children, families, and staff. My heart is overflowing with gratitude, and I wouldn’t have wanted to spend this day anywhere else.

Our little learners have been busy exploring the world through sensory experiences, perception activities, and even investigating loud and soft sounds!

At this age, children learn best by doing. Research shows that hands-on, sensory-rich experiences help build important neural connections in the brain, support language development, strengthen problem-solving skills, and lay the foundation for future academic success.

Whether they’re exploring different textures, discovering how sounds can change, experimenting with cause and effect, or using their senses to make sense of the world around them, our children are actively learning through play every day.

☀️🎉 Our K Ready (Preschool/Pre-K) students wrapped up an incredible school year with a Summer Celebration and Field Day!

The day was filled with laughter, smiles, giggles, and endless fun as our students enjoyed special activities, games, and time together celebrating all they have accomplished this year. Watching their excitement and joy was a wonderful reminder of just how much they have grown, learned, and achieved.

We are so proud of each and every one of these amazing children and all of the hard work they have put in throughout the year. What a fun and memorable way to celebrate a fantastic school year and kick off summer!

💛✨ It has been such a wonderful week so far celebrating the incredible staff here at LHLP! ✨💛

From sweet treats and surprises to thoughtful donations and encouraging words, our hearts are so full. Thank you to every family, church member, and supporter who has helped make Teacher Appreciation Week so special for our team. Your kindness and generosity truly mean more than words can say. 🌟

One of the sweetest parts of the week has been watching our teachers stop to read the “Wall of Love” messages from families. The encouraging words, heartfelt notes, and appreciation shared have meant so much to our staff and have truly reminded them how valued and loved they are. 🥹💛

Our teachers pour so much love, patience, compassion, and dedication into these children every single day, and we are so thankful to have the opportunity to celebrate them this week! 🍎🖍️

And guess what… more surprises are still to come! 🎉💛

🪲🎨 Creepy Crawlers, Color Fun & Hands-On Learning! 🎨🪲

Our 2’s & 3’s friends have been busy exploring the wonderful world of BUGS this week! 🐞🕷️🐛 From colorful art projects to sensory play and bug-themed activities, our little learners are having SO much fun discovering, creating, and growing together. 🌈✨

Through hands-on experiences like painting, coloring, sorting, and creating creepy crawler masterpieces, children are building important early learning skills every single day, including:
