With the shorter camp for baseball, online registration will close on 6/18 to ensure that pre registrated campers will receive tshirts. Any walk up registrations will not be guaranteed a shirt.

VARSITY BASEBALL
Round 1 of sectionals, varsity defeated Shelbyville 7-5 in extra innings. Luke Baker hit a 2 run walk off HR in the bottom of the 8th inning for the win.
The Royals managed 5 hits on the night. Maddux Haworth doubled and drove in Sam Roeder with 2 outs in the sixth for the Royals first hit. Will Manship added an RBI double to draw the Royals within a run. Rudy Schoettle added an RBI double to tie the game.
Luke Greene started for the Royals and went 5 innings. Nico Amodeo threw 2 innings in relief without giving up a hit and struck out 4 batters. Daylan Powers picked up the win with a scoreless 8th inning.
Drew Nelson singled to start the Royal’s rally with 2 outs. Luke Baker then homered for the win.
The Royals will face the Greenwood Woodmen in the sectional semi-final on Saturday at 5 pm at New Palestine High School.
