Congratulations to the IUPUI students who presented our 1G-Space Station design at the American Society for Engineering Education conference in New Orleans, LA! Our dedicated team of undergraduate students cheered us on from Indianapolis as their year-long research efforts were published and recognized at a national conference. We are proud to announce another successful year and want to congratulate the 1G NASA Space Station team for all their efforts. We will be having a general meeting for all members on Thursday, March 10th at 3:00PM in room EL224. We have some key points to discuss:

1) Status of the NASA 1G Station project
2) ASEE Draft Revision Overview
3) Officer Elections will be held (see info below)
4) Future project directions

We apologize that the meeting presentation could not be uploaded at this time. Please check your emails for important updates regarding research, officer elections, and upcoming events! We also have an official website in the works.

Our first photo-voltaic tests were a success! A big thank you goes out to Hilton Indianapolis and Hilton Garden Inn for allowing us access to their rooftops, as well as the six dedicated SEDS members who participated on Friday. Keep it up!

Our next SEDS meeting will be tomorrow, Tuesday July 15th at 6:00pm in room UL4120J. We will be reviewing procedures and determining test dates before contacting the building managers. See you all tomorrow!

Our first research meeting this summer will be Friday, June 20th at 12:00pm in the University Library room UL 4120C.

This meeting is open to any and all SEDS members or potential members who would like to get some research experience and lend a hand in our solar panel project. If you cannot make it on the meeting date but would like to still be a part of the experimental portion, please contact me as soon as possible so that I can fill you in and find another day that works for you.

What we are experimenting with in SEDS IUPUI really matters and has great future applications!
