Douglas MacArthur Elementary School

Last Friday we celebrated 31 of our hardworking ELL students for teaching a level 5 or above on the WIDA test. This is a massive milestone that shows just how much effort they've put into their English language learning journey. We are incredibly proud of them! Congratulations!!

Everyone had a great time when Rowdie was in the house. We knew he would be fun, but he blew the kids away with his dancing skills. Thank You to the Indianapolis Indians for letting Rowdie out if the dog house long enough to have fun with our students! A HUGE shout out to Mrs Campbell for all of her hard work to bring Rowdie to DME!

Today was our annual High Jump competition for 5th grade. 4th graders were invited to watch and see what the excitement was all about!

For the safety of the students, please park at the church across the street from the school and walk to the outdoor garden in the back of the school.

With the weather changing hourly, please know that if your grade level awards are moved inside, you will need to have your drivers license or picture ID to enter. No guests will be permitted into the school without ID.
