Today was one of our favorite days of the year. đž
We had the honor of celebrating our and their post-secondary plans with our Breakfast and Panther Parade of Graduates throughout the district! From college to careers, military service to apprenticeships, every path represents years of hard work, growth, resilience, and determination.
The smiles, hugs, high fives, and proud moments with former teachers reminded us exactly why we do this work. Seeing students thank the educators who helped shape their journeyâespecially during Teacher Appreciation Weekâmade today even more special.
To our seniors: we are so proud of the young adults you have become and so excited for what comes next. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your story. Your future is bright, and today we celebrated every step it took to get here. đâ¨

This week, North Central High School students took part in two powerful events focused on creating positive change: the Marion County Youth Violence Prevention Coalition Youth Summit and Rachel's Challenge Chain Reaction Day.
Both events centered on improving school climate and culture, preventing bullying and violence, and promoting kindness, connection, and positive behavior.
Students are one of the most powerful forces for change in their schools and communities. And our student leaders are proud to use their voices, leadership, and actions to make a positive impact.

Our have been busy in senior English classes making sure the is set up for a strong finish! đ
From breaking down important end-of-year dates and deadlines, to talking through post-secondary plans & reminding students itâs okay if youâre still figuring it out, these lessons are all about senior success.
One of the most meaningful moments? Seniors taking time to reflect and write letters of advice to next yearâs freshmen â sharing their wisdom, lessons learned, and encouragement for the journey ahead. We know our incoming freshmen will love these letters!
Weâre proud of our seniors and excited to support them every step of the way as they close out this chapter and prepare for whatâs next!

Thereâs nothing like the energy of âand today, we had the unique opportunity to bring that excitement directly to our school community.
We were proud to host staff for a professional development session focused on NCAA eligibility, providing our and coaches with valuable, up-to-date information to better support our college-bound student-athletes. Opportunities like this strengthen our ability to guide students through the ever-evolving college athletics landscape with confidence and clarity.
To make the day even more memorable, the NCAA Championship Trophy made a special appearance, giving both students and staff a chance to celebrate the start of the tournament and capture a once-in-a-lifetime photo.
Grateful for partnerships that connect learning with real-world experiencesâand bring a little extra excitement to our halls.

This week we celebrate our School Social Workers for ! We honor how they truly âbringing together students, families, staff, and community resources to spark meaningful change every single day. Their work goes far beyond crisis response; they build bridges, remove barriers, and create safe spaces where students feel seen, supported, and empowered. Through compassion, advocacy, and collaboration, they ignite hope, strengthen resilience, and create a lasting impact in the lives of our students and throughout our school community. We are grateful for the powerful difference Ms. Johnson, Mrs. Shannon, and Mrs. Hawkins make every day!
