Since he joined the scholarships program, Kafwimbi has had a remarkable performance, being top of his class since grade 7. He just got his high school diploma (summa cm laude), again with top score for his entire school, IMA Kafubu High School. We are hoping that he will pursue his college studies, while facing some medical challenges.

Meet Nadege, one of the first three Waza scholars who were selected in 2008. She has been in the Waza program until 2021, when she dropped as a college sophomore. Nadege is very grateful for Waza’s unconditional support since grade 3. Nadege works for a hair salon. She has accepted to serve as a Waza volunteer. Welcome and thank you, Nadege!

Sharing a moment of great achievement with Momat, one of the earliest Waza scholars, who joined the Waza Scholarships program in early 2009. Momat has gone through a bit of tumultuous journey, during which he dropped out twice. We are glad he has achieved his highest college degree. Momat defended his work on July 08th. He is waiting for the commencement, coming soon. Congratulations!
