Our Story

IUPUI Sustainability operates two gardens on the IUPUI campus: the Central Garden and the New York Street Garden. With IUPUI's central downtown location, the IUPUI Urban Gardens are a leading example of organic urban gardening in Indianapolis. All the produce grown at our campus gardens is used by IUPUI Food Services, sold at the Fresh Produce Market, and donated to the Campus Kitchen at IUPUI to help ease food insecurity on campus and in our community.

Please join us if you are interested in gardening or sustainable development and living. This is not only a great opportunity to be more active, but also to increase environmental literacy for the betterment of current and future generations.
