Today at VCP High School, students participated in our second annual Firehawk Flight Fest!!!

During Firehawk Flight Fest, students had the opportunity to explore the many ways they can get involved at VCP HS, including clubs, organizations, after-school programs, internships, and more.

Firehawk Flight Fest is one of the many ways we bring our VCP Value of Community to life by helping students build connections, discover new interests, and find opportunities to get involved beyond the classroom.

VCP HS families, make sure to ask your student about their Firehawk Flight Fest experience and what they’re excited to get involved in this school year!!!

POLICY REMINDER: FRONT OFFICE GUIDELINES 📝

STUDENTS NEEDING EARLY DISMISSAL MUST DEPART BY 2:00PM

* All visitors are REQUIRED to have photo-ID to check-in as guests/pick-up students

* 2:00 p.m. deadline for early dismissal for all student pickups

* 2:00 - 2:50 p.m. building visitors prohibited to ensure a safe, orderly dismissal.

* 12:00 p.m. deadline to request a change in status as bus rider or car rider.

* 24hr notice and written note REQUIRED for one-time, limited-time bus route change.

VCP Families, do you still need uniform shirts for the 2026-2027 school year? As we continue through our second week of school, we want to remind families that VCP uniform shirts can be ordered through the VCP Uniform Store.

Please plan ahead! Uniform orders can take 2–3 weeks to arrive, so we encourage families who still need shirts to place their orders as soon as possible.

Uniforms are required for all students from Kindergarten thru Grade 12.

Tomorrow, we welcome students in ALL grade levels back to both VCP campuses!

Families with students attending the Sloan Avenue Campus should review the transportation guidelines before arriving at school. Due to nearby road construction and increased enrollment, traffic will be heavier than usual during arrival and dismissal.

Please remember:
• Car riders must enter the car rider line from the north via Sloan Avenue.
• Do not stop or park on Sloan Avenue to drop off students.
• Bus riders should check the Chipmunk App before leaving home for updated bus stop information and expect buses to run up to 15 minutes behind schedule during the first few days of school.
