Yesterday, our VCP Grade 8 students celebrated the completion of middle school in a promotion ceremony, and as rising freshman, marked the start of their high school careers! We appreciate all of the families in attendance to show their support, and let's join in congratulating the future VCP Class of 2030 on this tremendous milestone.

We celebrate you, VCP High School Class of 2026! We are so proud of your accomplishments and so excited for your futures. Congratulations on your Commencement Ceremony today. You are forever Firehawks!

Yesterday, we welcomed our VCP Elementary families to the Sloan Avenue Campus for Honors Day!

We celebrated our students’ hard work and academic achievements, including A/B Honor Roll, Most Improved, Perfect Attendance, and more. We also had the opportunity to promote our students to the next grade level as we wrap up another incredible school year.

We are so proud of our VCP Elementary Firehawks for all of their growth, dedication, and perseverance this year. Thank you to our VCP families for continuously supporting our students, teachers, and staff throughout the school year.

Senior Signing Day was held on May 7, and we can still feel the energy from the Class of 2026 revealing their college and career choices before nearly 500 family members, friends, and supporters!

These senior have accomplished incredible things:
- 100% college acceptance rate with an average of 5 acceptances per student;
- $2.5 MILLION in scholarships and grants earned;
- 34 completed the Indiana College Core and will begin college as sophomores in the fall;
- 4 earned an Associate of General Sudies Degree, meaning their first two years of college are already complete!
The Class of 2026 is also special for being the first cohort to graduate from the standalone VCP High School on our new Bethel Avenue Campus! Join us in congratulating this amazing group!

Our annual High Flyer Awards luncheon raised a record $57,577, thanks in no small part to presenting sponsor Commercial Service! Today's event celebrated student success in earning the Indiana College Core, with 12 members of the VCP Class of 2026 receiving a combined $21,000 in College Bound Cash awards for earning As and Bs in their dual-credit college classes at VCP. We also honored our most committed partners with High Flyer Awards, including Ivy Tech Community College as Community Partner of the Year, Karen Lyles as Internship Experience of the Year, and Garmong Construction as Donor of the Year. Anna Watson, who helped plan today's event, was named Board member of the year! Thank you to the 124 in attendance today, and we'll be spotlighting other event sponsors in the days ahead!

This evening, we celebrated the creative talents of our students in Kindergarten thru Grade 4 at the VCP Elementary School Evening of the Arts! Families have enjoyed dinner, a gallery of student artwork, and activities like glow room coloring and decorating and planting pots to take home and grow. Thank you to the faculty and staff members who volunteered their time to support this special annual event with our VCP students and their families.

Our annual VCP Service Awards are a special part of Teacher Appreciation Week each year! Today, we honored educators for their years of service to VCP with gifts and cash awards. We are deeply grateful for the incredible work of our entire faculty and staff - a team of 160 empowering students to thrive! Join us in congratulating the VCP team for all they do each day for our students.
