Monday morning we received the news that one of our colleagues had been found by her husband, she had passed away unexpectedly.
She had been talking to me a few days prior about having survived sepsis and how she was impacted. She told me she understood where I was coming from and what I was dealing with and offered to talk anytime I wanted.
Linda always smiled and had funny stories about her farm or her grandkids when I would talk to her or when we were in one of the many meetings we had together. She had also recently been telling me about her Disney cruise and almost had me convinced to go on one ❤️❤️
In NO way does this seem right. She was just way too young.

This obituary is beautiful.
The comments on the post from her MANY students stand as a testament to her and what she gave to the world of nursing.

The comments from her children’s friends were so moving.
Referring to her home as a safe and happy place that they they spent their childhood (or adolescence) in.
How wonderful she was to them serves as a reminder that who we are will carry on in others as they live and impart the love and lessons she taught them.

I can only hope to make the impact that she did.
