The WBENC network of business leaders and industry professionals are always ahead of the curve when it comes to championing the next generation of entrepreneurs. Help us spread the word and encourage collegiate entrepreneurs and emerging founders, as well as recent graduates, to seize the opportunity to APPLY NOW for the 2026 WBENC Collegiate Accelerator Program!

Students and recent graduates accepted into the 2026 CA virtual cohort will participate in tailored curriculum designed to inform, support, and empower participating entrepreneurs to establish and grow their existing early-stage businesses or startup ventures. Through a cohort-based program model, the Collegiate Accelerator fosters collaboration and shared learning as participants form peer-to-peer connections, exchange resources, and expand their professional networks.

The CA virtual program will culminate in the virtual Collegiate Accelerator Pitch Competition Semi-Final Round, in which founders will compete for a chance to gain personalized mentorship from industry professionals and experienced business owners, as well as attend the in-person WBENC National Conference in Salt Lake City, UT in June. While in Utah, the CA Pitch Finalists will connect in-person with their mentors and peers, engage in meaningful professional networking opportunities, showcase their services or products on the expo floor, and will compete in the Final Round of the Collegiate Accelerator Pitch Competition for a chance to win micro-seed funding.

All day I've listened to and read all the tributes for Rev. Jesse Jackson. This is one of those profound loses. A giant indeed whose shoulders we stand upon and will always stand upon.

I stand in awe of this giant. He gave his life for us. In such a selfish society when it's all about "me," he worked until his dying days letting us know that we are somebody, when the world around us continually and continues to try to tell us and show us differently.

What is so profound for me is listening to the tributes of those pour in from those who are doing tremendous work in our communities, leading, fighting, Rev. Jackson mentored the next generation, he showed up for them... and he understood more than most, to whom much is given, much is required. He didn't just understand it, he lived it!!!

Thank you Rev. Jesse Jackson for always running for us and having the foresight to pass the baton/ the mantle while you were yet in the land of the living... you strategized, you prepared, and you continued to guide and run beside those who will continue your legacy.

I heard many say, we got it from here!!! There are so many who watched, who admired, who learned, who gleaned, who were inspired to fight the good fight. Elisha... THANK YOU!!! Because of you, many will pick up the cloak and run.

As I read Dr. Michael Eric Dyson say today, after all the years of running, now Rest Jesse Rest!!! Thou good and faithful servant 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

My prayer is as the giants continue to go home to be with God and receive their reward there will be no lack for those who will be willing to not just stand in times of comfort and convenience, but will stand boldly in times of challenge and controversy... thank you Rev. Jesse Jackson for showing us the roadmap🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

MANTLED... GREAT RESPONSIBILITY... A HEAVY WEIGHT BUT WE READY!!!

visioning... I SEE IT... I SEE US... I SEE THE ENTIRE VILLAGE... GLOBAL...I see the fulfillment of vision... I hear in the Spirit... its manifestation time...
