New to IPS? Overwhelmed to think about what’s ahead for IPS? IPS parent council is for you!

Join us at the IPS school board candidate on Sunday, August 30, from 3:30 to 5 pm. There is an amazing slate of grassroots candidates endorsed by the council. The forum will be moderated by Dr. Gayle Cosby. Come for connection, community and digestible information! Free childcare available!

Please feel free to join the IPS parent council if you are parent of an IPS kid and would like information that they share, even if you can’t attend this or other meetings. Any parent is welcome to come whatever type of public school their kid attends!

🚨PTA Meeting Tonight🚨
Hello Howe Community!
We’d love to have you join us tonight at 6:30 PM for our first TC Howe PTA meeting of the school year!
Our meetings are hybrid, so you can participate in whatever way works best for you. Come see us in person, join online, or simply log in and listen while you’re making dinner, driving kids around, or winding down for the evening.
It's a great way to hear what’s happening at Howe, learn what the PTA is working on, and get to know our school community a little better.

⏰ We do our best to keep every meeting to one hour or less.

Come in through the main doors of TC Howe. We’ll meet on the 2nd floor in the Media Center.

Welcome back, Hornets! We wish students, staff and parents a great first week. Monday, August 10th, the doors open at 8:45am and school starts at 9am!
On Wednesday, August 12th, we will have our first PTA meeting of the school year. It's a hybrid meeting, so you can join us in person at T.C. Howe Middle School or virtually (see link below) at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome. 💛

🐝 Help Us Choose Our New Howe Hornets Sticker! 🐝

We're excited to create a new sticker to support the T.C. Howe Middle School PTA, and we need your help!

Whether you're a current Howe family, proud alum, staff member, or longtime Hornet supporter, we'd love your vote. We wanted to create something that honors the history of this iconic Eastside Indianapolis school while feeling just as meaningful to today's Hornets as it does to those who walked these halls years ago.
How to vote:

👍 Check out the three sticker designs in the comments below and "Like" your favorite design. Each design will be posted as its own comment, making it easy to vote and for us to count the results.

🗳️ Voting closes at the end of the day this Friday.

The winning design will be made into a sticker, with proceeds benefiting the T.C. Howe Middle School PTA and helping support students, staff, and school programs. Stickers will be sold online and at school events including back to school nights next week.
