Need before or after school care?

As the new school year gets underway, don’t forget that FDS offers convenient Level Up Before and After Care at all Head Start and Early Head Start centers.

Whether you need a little extra support in the morning or afternoon, our caring team is here to provide a safe, engaging environment for your child.

🕗 Before School: 8:00–9:00 a.m.🕞 After School: 3:30–5:00 p.m.

Now accepting private pay and CCDF vouchers.

Families can enroll directly with their Family Advocate or Family Support Specialist (EHS). For questions about payment options, CCDF enrollment, or the program, contact Teea Watts, Before and After Care Program Coordinator, at 📞 317-217-1431.

This is a great opportunity to ask questions, connect with our team, and help your child start the year with confidence.

Are you looking to Enroll in Head Start Before the School Year Begins! ✨📚

August's Open Enrollment Event for the 2026–2027 school year is coming up on Saturday, August 1st, and we'd love to meet your family!

If you're interested in enrolling your child in Head Start or Early Head Start, stop by our Administrative Office and let our team help you complete the eligibility and enrollment process. We're here to answer questions, review documents, and make the process as smooth as possible.

⏰ Time:
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Children must be at least 3 years old by September 11, 2026 to qualify for Head Start.

Families can apply for any Head Start or Early Head Start center during this event.

✅ Please bring:
• Child's birth certificate, passport, or foster placement letter
• Immunization records
• Last dental exam information
• Health insurance card
• Well-child visit summary
• IEP documentation (if applicable)
• Income verification documents
• Current paystub or school schedule
• Parent/guardian photo ID
• Social Security card (if applicable)

A strong start begins with early education, and we're excited to help families take that next step. We hope to see you on August 1st!
