We are excited to begin a new series called At Lourdes, highlighting the people, ministries, traditions, and moments that help tell the story of what makes Our Lady of Lourdes such a special parish.

We begin by looking back at Fr. Jude's celebration of 10 years of priesthood.

Earlier this month, parishioners, friends, and guests from the parishes Fr. Jude has served throughout his priesthood gathered to celebrate this milestone and give thanks for his faithful ministry. It was a joyful afternoon filled with fellowship, laughter, gratitude, and shared memories.

Congratulations, Fr. Jude, and thank you for ten years of faithful priestly service. We are grateful for the many ways you have shared Christ's love and served our parish family.

Yesterday, the Catholic bishops of the United States consecrated our country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. May the Sacred Heart continue to inspire us to live with faith, hope, compassion, and love.

Today, the Bishops of the United States consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Parishes and individuals around the country are encouraged to join the U.S. Catholic bishops in this historic occasion, beginning with this Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus written for the consecration.

On June 11, the bishops of the United States will consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus during Mass at the upcoming Bishops’ Conference meeting. Parishes across the country are invited to unite in prayer for this special moment. We will join in this consecration at the 5:30 p.m. Mass at Little Flower. We invite you to be part of this meaningful occasion as we entrust our nation to the loving Heart of Christ. Join us in prayer on June 11.
