IU Indianapolis BREWERY OPERATIONS COURSE - JANUARY 15th Registration Deadline - 7 DAY COURSE (classes 2 weeks apart) - REGISTER NOW (seats are limited) !!!
----- 7 long, full days for Pro Brewery Workers or Those Wanting To Work In The Industry, or Anyone That Just Wants to Learn More. Approx 40 classroom hrs plus 25+ hrs in local breweries, especially course supporter, Sun King Brewery. Participants receive an IU Certificate, and should be prepared to take the BJCP and Certified Cicerone Exams upon completion. ----- CLASS 3 - Feb 26: Beer Ingredients and Their Impact on Brewing - Includes Hops, Malt and Water Chemistry Demos, etc.
----- CLASS 4 - Mar 12: Brewhouse Equipment and Operations - Includes a Half Day at Sun King Brewery, Safety & Maintenance Issues, etc. Safety equipment required.
----- CLASS 5 - Mar 26: Fermentation and Cellaring Operations - Includes a Half Day at Sun King Brewery, Yeast Harvesting, Lab Processes, etc. Safety equipment required.
