When asked for a quote, Noah Youderian (Rho, '24) shared, "I'm especially looking forward to watching our younger members step into leadership roles and take ownership of Rho's future. There's real momentum in the house right now, and I'm excited to help guide that growth while staying connected with the alumni."

Alumni of Beta Sigma (University of North Texas) gathered for an afternoon of lunch and fellowship. The chapter's original scrapbook, brought by Past Supreme Prior Marc Perlstein, transported them back to their college days. Everlasting, ever faithful, ever staunch and true, stands the brotherhood we formed in Sigma Alpha Mu.

Last night’s South Florida Alumni Association event at Strokes N Drivers, owned by Mike Reichman (Sigma Zeta/Indiana, ’98), was a powerful reminder of what makes Sigma Alpha Mu special. Our lifelong brotherhood bridges chapters, cities, and generations!

Join Sigma Alpha Mu's international leadership and other fratres in the Detroit Metro area for fellowship and fraternalism. Members of the Octagon will be present as they hold their spring meeting over the weekend. That means this is a great opportunity to socialize with area alumni, international leadership, and learn more about the latest developments in Sigma Alpha Mu.

Last weekend, Sigma Iota hosted a "Dads Weekend", bringing together 2 generations of Sigma Iota Dads! Thank you, Erik Harris (Sigma Iota, '92), for sharing this inspiring gathering!

Chapter leaders from Sigma Alpha Mu descended on Philly this past weekend with one thing on their minds: growth. Interactive exercises and meaningful conversations pushed them to think deeper and get clearer on purpose-driven leadership.

For a lot of attendees, Chapter Leaders Day marked their first face-to-face with brothers from different chapters—and the energy was unmistakable. That immediate bond. That fraternal spirit that sets Sigma Alpha Mu apart.

Some alumni recently got together for a brief reunion and a great night out at the famous Katz's Deli in New York! Yet another showcase of the lifelong bonds formed among brothers. Fast and Firm!

Past Supreme Prior Hanno Mott (Omicron/Cincinnati, ‘52) entered Chapter Eternal on Friday, February 6th. Hanno attended the University of Cincinnati where he joined the Omicron Chapter of Sigma Alpha Mu and earned both his B.A and J.D. After earning his law degree he moved to New York and called the ΣΑΜ Headquarters - located in New York at the time - to offer his service and assistance. The offer was accepted and Hanno began a journey of volunteerism in ΣΑΜ spanning eight decades. He gave generously of his time as a legal advisor. Hanno was elected to service on the Octagon where he held the roles of Consul, Supreme Recorder, and Supreme Prior. He was President of the SAM Development Corporation supporting housing efforts. From 1994 until 2017, Hanno was an officer of the Endowment Fund. He was a Director of the ΣΑΜ Foundation for more than thirty years, where he also served as President from 2009-2021. In 1995, Hanno became the eleventh recipient of our Distinguished Service Award.

This past weekend in Chicago, Sigma Alpha Mu chapter leaders showed up ready to grow. Through hands-on activities and powerful group discussions, they sharpened their critical thinking skills and deepened their understanding of what it means to lead with purpose.

For many, Chapter Leaders Day was their first time meeting fratres from other chapters—and you could feel it in the room. That instant connection. That spirit of fraternity that makes Sigma Alpha Mu special.

This is what brotherhood looks like. 🤝

Delta Theta (Stony Brook) Chapter alumni and Headquarters staff recently met with University Administrators to discuss a future return for the Chapter. Growth opportunities such as these are important and strategic priorities for Sigma Alpha Mu.
