Tiara Herring is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in healthcare, proudly serving the Chicagoland area and its surrounding counties. Her journey in healthcare began as a Nurse Assistant, progressing to Licensed Practical Nurse, and later advancing to a Registered Nurse. With a commitment to expanding her expertise, Tiara earned her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science from Purdue Northwest University, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from Governor State University.
Throughout her career, Tiara has gained extensive bedside nursing experience across various specialties, including medical-surgical/telemetry, trauma, orthopedics, and skilled nursing. Her diverse background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of patient care, making her an invaluable asset to the CommuniCare team.
Beyond her professional achievements, Tiara is a devoted wife and mother of four daughters. She cherishes time with her family, and enjoys traveling, writing, and reading.

Meet the Director : Samantha Casey is the Director of Shining Star Development Learning Center
With 18 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, Samantha Casey is dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. Samantha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, an Associate Degree in Business Management, an Associate Degree in Human Services, and a Diploma in Childcare Daycare Management, reflecting her comprehensive expertise in the field.
Samantha’s journey in early childhood education began with a profound belief in the “No child left behind” rule. This philosophy drives her commitment to ensuring that every child receives the attention, care, and education they deserve. Samantha’s teaching philosophy emphasizes the development of life skills, understanding that these foundational experiences profoundly impact both the child’s life and the broader community. Her passion stems from the joy and fulfillment of playing an active role in a child’s growth and development.
As a Business Director, Samantha seamlessly combines her extensive educational background with her business acumen, ensuring that Shining Star Development Learning Center operates smoothly and effectively. Her holistic approach to childcare management reflects her dedication to excellence and her empathy for both children and their families.
