Gotokukan is a kendo dojo located in Indianapolis. It is the school of the five virtues, teaching kendo to those who wish to learn the ancient ways of Japan.
Taught by 7th Dan Masahiro Imafuji, Gotokukan embodies the essence of kendo.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we must cancel this evening's class (May 7).
Gotokukan dojo will open at 6:15pm tomorrow evening, May 5.

Congratulations to Imafuji-sensei, who passed the exam for kyoshi grade (7th dan), an official recognition of his excellence in practicing and teaching kendo.
Dojo will be open at around 6:40pm tonight
4/2: Dojo opens around 6:40. Focusing on funikomi and small strikes. We will quite likely to finish earlier due to the small number of participants.
Due to the impending weather issues, we are canceling class this evening, March 26. Stay safe!
