Indiana Pacers Fundraiser for Sidener Academy PTA
Help raise money for our school by going to an Indiana Pacers game! Invite your friends, family members, and co-workers to our school night on Thursday, February 26th, 2026, when the Pacers take on the Charlotte Hornets. Students can win some amazing Pacers prizes such as:

Thank you to all of our Sidener Academy families and friends who supported the school by purchasing tickets to tonight's Indiana Fever game! Tip off is at 7:30pm for our playoff bound Fever, but the fun starts outside on the plaza 2 hours in advance! Doors open at 6pm and inside they'll have give-aways, free face painting, caricatures and balloon art! Be sure to look on the scoreboards for a shout out to Sidener Academy! See you tonight!

Today, we kicked off our largest fundraiser of the year: World's Finest Chocolate! Students are bringing home permission slips or you can use the attached image to get permission to sell chocolate! Each box contains 30 bars in a variety of flavors with each bar costing $2 each. Funds raised are used to purchase classroom supplies, enrichment opportunities for students, family events, scholarship for student experiences and more! Last year, we raised over $5000 together. Let's exceed that goal this year to give our Sidener Academy students the best year possible!

The Indiana Fever will take on top seeded Minnesota Lynx during Fan Appreciation Night, on Tuesday, September 9 at 7:30pm. We'll sit together as a school group and receive special discounted ticket pricing! Two seating levels are available this year.

With Back to School night tomorrow, Friday, August 1 from 4:30-6:30pm, the Sidener Academy PTA would like to invite you to join or renew your PTA membership for the 2025-26 school year by using this link: https://my.cheddarup.com/c/2024-2025-pta-dues-copy/items

Dues are $15 for the full year and includes support for the National, Indiana and Sidener Academy PTA. Scholarships for dues are available by emailing [email protected].

We are again offering new Sidener Spiritwear Shirts for $10 each along with PTA membership. If you become or renew your membership and order your T-shirt online before Back to School night, we will set your shirt aside for quick pick up at the PTA table. You can order your size(s) on the linked website when you renew your membership, and because of high demand last year, we ordered extra adult shirts so parents and caregivers can show their Sidener pride as well! You can also share your interest in volunteer areas this year and make a donation to support our students and events if you are able.

Remember to stop by the PTA table at Back to School Night for this year's PTA updates, popsicles and to pick up your T-shirt orders!

Make plans to attend these upcoming school events! Homeroom assignments and school supply lists went out over email this week. If you didn't receive them, call the school during the work week from 7:30-2pm.
