To celebrate Earth Day and spring day of service, South bend students recently volunteered at Unity Gardens in South Bend, Indiana. This organization has free-pick gardens, community events, and educational opportunities to strengthen both physical and economic health.

For spring day of service, IUSM-Terre Haute students hosted a comprehensive health fair to provide community members with health education, screenings, and direct connections to essential local resources. This event fostered a fun, collaborative, and relationship-building environment with local community partners.

Here are some photos from Evansville’s spring day of service! They volunteered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace which is an organization that builds beds for children in need. Stay tuned to see what other campuses did for their respective spring days of service.

The results of the statewide food drive are in! Congrats to South Bend for leading the way.

Some stats from the drive:
- 96.5 volunteer hours with food-related organizations
- $450 dollars directly donated to food pantries
- 319 food items donated

For their spring service day the campus volunteered Food Finders Food Pantry in Lafayette!

Meet Suzanne, our VP of finance for SLC!

Campus highlight: Indy students volunteered with the Wheeler Mission helping with some spring cleaning of newly acquired housing. This housing will be used by those experiencing housing insecurity. Our students stated that this experience “highlighted how thoughtfully maintained environments can support healing and stability.”
