Thank you to everyone who came out to support music at LHSI last Thursday! I'm so proud of the work that these students have done to keep music alive at the school, and I'm excited to see how we will continue to grow and improve in the coming years. Keep an eye out for more events coming soon. Soli Deo Gloria!

Day 7! AKA the final day! We spent the day having fun at the new Universal Epic Universe. No performances, just enjoying the final day of the trip. We are now on the bus heading back towards Indianapolis. This trip provided so many amazing opportunities for our students, and I hope that we can continue to do things like this in the future!

Day 6! We started the day by spending time at Hollywood Studios as the MLHS Drumline did their performance. In the afternoon, we got to do a workshop playing some Disney music that was synced up to the movie itself. We couldn’t take pictures during the workshop, but here’s a selfie from after the workshop (and a picture of the Millennium Falcon of course). One day left!
Day 5 was…not what we expected! The weather continues to be a problem for us, but we know how to adapt and make it work! The Milwaukee Lutheran Drumline performed at Ron Jon Surf Shop this morning (despite some near-freezing temperatures). Then it was a BBQ lunch and time to relax at the hotel. Back to parks tomorrow!

We completed a performance at Universal Studios this morning! These kids worked so hard to proclaim God’s Word though music while also having a fun time with some pop tunes. We’ll be spending the rest of the day at Universal Studios enjoying the rides and inconsistent weather!

Day 3! We started the day by playing at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, then it was off to Magic Kingdom. We ran into some thunderstorms and heavy rain, but it was a successful day. Tomorrow it’s Universal and some more performances!
We’ve run into a bit of weather on our first day at Disney, but there was plenty of sunshine for the first couple of hours here! WEATHER (haha) it clears up or not, we will be able to say that we had a memorable day!

Day 2 complete! Not as many stops, but we arrived to our destination (and made it to another Buc-ee’s). This evening was a chance to get some down time at the hotel before we start with our activities tomorrow. Exciting things ahead!

And that’s a wrap on day 1! Over 12 hours of travel, two Buc-ee’s stops, and one massive dinner down. A great start to this amazing trip, and we’re looking forward to meeting up with Milwaukee Lutheran tomorrow. See you then!

These students have put in a TON of work and it has paid off! Come see the fruits of their labor this weekend, you won’t regret it!

What a great year it has been! LHS is blessed to have students with a love of music such as these. We have had many God given successes including students accepted into national honor bands, and an ISSMA Silver/Gold. We are so thankful for all the blessings we have received and can give back to God and our community. Seniors, you will be missed
