for John Robert Powers Modeling and Acting in Atlanta, GA. She has recorded with numerous renowned producers around Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York. In 2005, She released her first original song “Mable’s Christmas.” The song was played on five different continents all over the world and was in the top ten NCM European chart. Then a year later Amy released her first solo album, Night Cap, a smooth, sensual, contemporary twist of hot jazz standards. She’s done voice over work, musical theatre, print modeling and filmed tv shows/commercials across the nation (i.e Steal Magnolia’s, The Magic Flute, Roads, Annie, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Hoosier Lottery, Big Lots, I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant and many more). Not only is Amy a talented performer, but also a highly respected music coach. When she is not performing she is teaching. Her business, Amy Thorn’s Music & More includes; preschool music, private voice and piano lessons, private acting lessons, acting classes and musical theatre camps. She has coached several actors/singers/musicians, young and old, many of whom can be seen in Broadway Musicals, television sitcoms, drama’s and commercials, as well as a few on the big screen (i.e. Footloose, The Lion King, Criminal Minds, Identity Thief, Greys Anatomy, Dear Dumb Diary, Father of Invention). Her perfect eye for talent and precise ear for music has landed her several key positions in the industry.
