Bunker Hill Elementary School

Mrs. Emerson’s first graders put their thinking caps on as they worked together to build words using large letter cards! Students had to listen carefully to each sound, think about which letters belonged, and collaborate with their classmates to build each word. We love seeing our Bulldogs learning, thinking, and working together!

How cool is this! Former FTCSC Flashes Community students are coming back home, but this time they are not sitting in the classroom; they are standing at the front of it, Making A Difference for the next generation of Flashes!

This year, we are excited to welcome a large number of Franklin Central graduates back home to work throughout our FTCSC Flashes Community!

We recently sat down with four of those graduates, Samantha Williams, Grace Wilson, Lola Reddick, and Dion Smith, to learn more about their journey back to FTCSC, the teachers and staff who Made A Difference in their lives, and how those experiences are now shaping the way they serve their own students.

Each of their stories is different, but they all have something pretty special in common. Someone at FTCSC believed in them, encouraged them, helped them see what they were capable of becoming, and Made A Difference in their lives! Now, they have the opportunity to do the same for the next generation of Flashes!

Building, creating, and growing together! Mrs. Cowell’s kindergarteners enjoyed spending time with friends, building with LEGOs and Magna-Tiles, and using their imaginations to create and explore. We love watching our Bulldogs learn important skills through play, teamwork, and lots of fun! 🐾💙

To celebrate the end of their Tall Tale & Fairytale unit, students dressed up as their favorite characters and had fun showing off what they’ve learned. From classic fairytales to larger-than-life tall tale characters, our second graders brought plenty of imagination to the day!

A fun way to wrap up a great unit! 💙🐾

At Bunker Hill, some of the most meaningful moments happen in the little things. 💙🐾

We are one big school family, and we treasure these everyday moments of connection with our Bulldogs. Because while academics are important, the relationships we build along the way are what make The Hill feel like home.
