UIndy's global mindset fueled Liz Thompson's passion for international connections and launched her to success with the NCAA!
Today, Thompson '09 works from the NCAA Eligibility Center in Indianapolis, helping international students navigate the process to becoming NCAA student-athletes. Along the way, she's had the opportunity to work alongside fellow UIndy alum Ivorye Long '06.
"Our experiences at UIndy shaped us not only as professionals, but as people—instilling in us a commitment to collaboration, lifelong learning, and service to others," said Thompson.

Different paths. Shared purpose.
For Sam Hunt '25 (Political Science) and Griffin McGee '26 (Business Administration & Management), internships at the Indiana Statehouse offered a chance to use their UIndy education for service. From communicating with constituents and legislators to researching policy and tracking legislation, both Greyhounds gained hands-on experience while helping shape the future of Indiana.
Now, those experiences are opening new doors—from law school to campaign management.
