WE HAVE A NEW HOME!
Starting Monday 25 Aug 2025, the Eastside Karate Program will meet at Downey Avenue Christian Church, 111 South Downey Avenue.
You can drop off and park on the southside of the building near Door #2 off of Hibben Ave. All the parking spots are marked as Handicapped only, but this is for Sundays only; yes, you can park there. This is the best spot to drop off students. Overflow parking is available on the WEST side of Downey Avenue, south of the round building (Mundell & Associates).
Enter via Door #2 directly into the Fellowship hall, where we will conduct classes.
While we no longer have locker rooms, there are restrooms nearby where you can change into your uniform.
There have been some changes to the class schedule:
1) No classes on Tuesday
2) Classes on Saturdays have slightly earlier start times

If the new location and/or schedule is no longer going to work for you, please let me know so I can cancel your membership.
Because we will have limited storage space at our new location, there is a lot of gear, furniture, office supplies, etc. available. Please see the post elsewhere on the Eastside Facebook Group page for pictures. Contact Sensei Hernly ASAP if you would like to come by to view or pick-up the items.
